Duties Description Standard duties of the Multimedia Production Representative 3 include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage the intake, assignment, and completion of all creative work requests for videography and graphic design teams.
• Provide creative direction, guidance, and feedback to videography and graphic design staff throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve all creative deliverables to ensure quality, brand consistency, and adherence to project objectives.
• Conduct performance management, including evaluations and goal setting, for direct reports.
• Serve as the primary liaison between creative teams, internal clients, and departmental management.
• Identify and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members to enhance skills and career growth.
• Oversee and optimize workflows and processes for efficient creative production.
• Ensure all creative work aligns with departmental brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Research and recommend technology to maintain highest current production standards.

Minimum Qualifications Nine years of experience in one or more of the following assignment areas with a national network, local network television affiliate, cable news, commercial media production facility, marketing communications agency or related operation. College study in a related field may be substituted for up to four years of experience with 30 credit hours equaling one year of experience.

a. Engineering or newsroom technology specialist, master control operator, media ingest operator, and/or media data center operator; OR

b. Production planner, production assistant, traffic coordinator, assistant account executive, or assignment editor; OR

c. News videographer, studio camera operator, art director, copywriter, graphic designer, video editor, producer, or web designer; OR

d. Broadcast engineer, uplink engineer, maintenance engineer, or broadcast systems integration


Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to initiate and maintain relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience managing and leading teams of creative professionals, specifically in videography and graphic design
• Experience working within a government agency or large organizational structure, understanding of public sector communication needs
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire creative talent.
• Strong understanding of the full video production lifecycle, from concept development to final delivery.
• Proficiency in graphic design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and branding.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
• A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.

Additional Comments Position specific job duties may include occasional altered work schedule or job assignments which require availability and willingness to work occasional evenings and/or out-stationed assignments.

Candidates with no previous state service will begin at the starting rate of the salary range listed above.
