Duties Description The Administrative Assistant 2 in South beach Addictions Treatment Center (ATC) is responsible for administrative duties for the Director, Assistant Director, and facility. Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Completion of necessary correspondence, answering the telephone and dealing with the needs of the public, visitors and patients.
• Maintaining staff rosters and tracking personnel training and certifications.
• Works closely with Admissions coordinator; assisting with creating intake packages, welcoming new patients, etc.
• Assists with various personnel functions such as assisting in scheduling interviews, completing new employee onboarding, tracking performance programs and evaluations and maintaining training records
• Ensure that office supplies for the facility are regularly inventoried and ordered as needed for all staff.
• Prepare for meetings and record minutes.
• May provide office and clerical support, computer, technology and administrative functions for the facility.
• May supervise other clerical staff and provide training and orientation to new staff.
• Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Permanent status as an Administrative Assistant 2 and interested in transfer; OR reachable for permanent appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list; OR
eligible to transfer via Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Additional Comments $59,808 - $74,695*
*Plus $4,000 location pay
* The salary range listed in this posting reflects the full range for this graded position, factoring in annual performance advances based on satisfactory annual performance reviews. Candidates with no previous State service will begin at the hiring rate (starting rate of the salary range) listed above, plus any applicable Location Pay/Geographic Pay/Shift Pay differentials.
Promotion salaries are calculated by the NYS Office of the State Comptroller in accordance with NYS Civil Service Law, OSC Payroll rules and regulations and negotiated union contracts.
