Salary RangeFrom $49727 to $63293 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Must be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State and have one year of full time post-RN licensure clinical nursing experience.
Duties Description Delivers all aspects of nursing care within the scope of practice of a registered professional nurse. When admitted to any specialty unit (SHU, PC, ICP, or Infirmary) nurse will complete the proper assessment and paperwork associated with that unit. Nurse will document and advise provider of patients progress. Document all aspects of the treatment/care provided using soap format. Maintain continuity of care relaying all information to other members of team. Plan for shift administration for each job assigned including sharps and narcotic counts and change of shift report. Assist other professionals. Able to maintain confidentiality, to maintain professional demeanor, to administer and document OTC and 1:1 medications per nursing protocol and MD orders. Prepare new MARs, able to utilize FHS1 system, hold chronic care clinics, clean work area, and perform other tasks as requested.
Additional Comments Geographical pay for Cayuga County $12,000 and shift differential pay for 3-11pm $5,000 additional pay.
