Minimum Qualifications APPLICANTS MUST BE A CURRENT NYS EMPLOYEE and have permanent status as a Human Resources Specialist 2, G-23, and qualified for transfer ~OR~ Reachable for permanent appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for Human Resources Specialist 2 Labor Relations ~OR~ Eligible for to transfer pursuant to Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description The Human Resources Specialist 2 Labor Relations will assume a balanced workload of labor relations assignments, including: the provision of services to assigned facility and administrative work locations; interaction with union officials and the Governor’s Office of Employee Relations’ liaisons; represent OASAS at various labor relations functions, such as disciplinary arbitrations, grievance and disciplinary reviews; performance evaluation appeals; investigations of possible employee misconduct; and provide support to managers and supervisors who are facing problematic employees.
