TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: One year of permanent competitive service in an appropriate title allocated to Grade 7 or higher may qualify for transfer pursuant to Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Eligible titles include, but are not limited to: Office Assistant 2, Grade 9; Office Assistant 2 Customer Service, Grade 9; and Office Assistant 2 Calculations, Grade 9.
Section 55-B/C: NYS employees with one year of permanent non-competitive service pursuant to Section 55-b/c of the Civil Service Law, may be eligible for a new 55-b/c appointment to this position if
they meet the technical requirements for transfer pursuant to Civil Service Law ยง70.1 as stated above.

Duties Description As a Senior Employment Security Clerk in the Administrative Finance Bureau, you would perform clerical processing and records maintenance in regard to inventory control. Periodic travel to office locations across the state is required in order to perform physical inventories. Computer knowledge is essential to reconcile equipment records, process transactions, and prepare inventory reports.
