Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have a minimum of four (4) years of litigation experience. Applicants must reside in (or intend to soon become a resident of) New York State and be admitted to practice law in New York State. In addition, the Public Officers Law requires that attorneys in the Office be citizens of the United States. A two (2) year commitment upon being hired is a condition of employment.
Duties Description The New York State Office of the Attorney General is seeking an experienced litigator to work in its Binghamton Regional Office. The Regional Office represents the State, and its agencies and officers in a wide range of state court litigation. The selected attorney will handle all phases of litigation from commencement through trial. Trial experience is a must and the ability to manage a large caseload is essential. Superior writing, analytical and organizational skills are required.
Additional Comments Salary to be determined commensurate with experience.
