A Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience working in Child Protective Services casework, one of which must include developing and/or delivering training involving the concepts and techniques of Child Protective Services casework.
Provide day to day supervision and evaluation of Training Specialist 1s (Child Protective services)
Coach and mentor Training Specialist 1s (Child Protective Services)
Schedule and assign staff to present Child Protective Services training throughout New York State.
Oversee, participate in, and provide subject matter expertise for curriculum development.
Review and approve proposals for training programs.
Review and evaluate lesson plans prepared by Training Specialist 1s (Child Welfare)
Review, monitor, and present courses including Child Protective Response Training, Supervising CPS, Family Assessment Response, and CPS in-service training.
Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
