Minimum Qualifications Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Minimum of 5 years actively providing care in EMS with at least 2 years as a paramedic
Minimum of 3 years of EMS teaching experience or completion of NYS CIC internship at SUNY Cobleskill and one year of teaching experience
Current New York State Bureau of EMS Paramedic certification
Current New York State Bureau of EMS Certified Instructor Coordinator or NAEMSE Instructor Course
Candidate must be a practicing paramedic provider within six months of hire and maintain active practice throughout employment

Duties Description The SUNY Cobleskill Paramedic Program is accepting applications for the position of Certified Instructor Coordinator. This employee will be primarily responsible for teaching the New York State EMS Educational Standards in our New York State certification courses, teaching American Heart Association courses and coordinating associated specialty courses. Schedule will be dictated by student and program needs. The employee will also have summer teaching and administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Director of the Paramedic Program.

Additional Comments This is a 12 month, full time position.
This position offers full New York State benefits which are among the most comprehensive in the country. Salary range for this position is $53-55,000.
