Minimum Qualifications Current Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services employee with permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c status as an Office Assistant 2 and interested in reassignment; OR New York State employee with one year of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c status as an Office Assistant 2; OR New York State employee with one year of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service in a clerical, secretarial or keyboarding title, SG-7 or higher and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description • Candidate needs to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Maintain office files.
• Create Spreadsheets and maintain tracking systems.
• Provide assistance to grantees and send reminder notices as appropriate.
• Assist with data entry for mandatory federal reports.
• Other clerical duties as assigned.
Additional Comments NOTE: Support of operations during times of emergency and disaster from State Emergency Operations Center (EOC), state field offices and/or local deployments may be required, which would result in a change and/or increase in working hours, locations and/or duties.
