Minimum Qualifications One year of practical experience in performing general construction or maintenance tasks. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle operated.
Duties Description Mount Loretto Labor Supervisor will serve as a working supervisor within a crew performing a variety of construction and maintenance tasks. Labor Supervisor will schedule work projects and make individual work assignments and Crew members based on the abilities of individual crew members and priorities set by management. Provide written and oral instruction on tasks. Maintain records of work status, time on task, materials and spending. Will operate self-propelled machinery such as cars, trucks, construction equipment and riding mowers; non-self-propelled machines such as compressors, and generators; and use hand and power tools such as axes, shovels, chain saws, power mowers, pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks. The Labor Supervisor will work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions.
Additional Comments Must have valid driver's license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain, work in remote areas and work in adverse weather conditions. Travel and overtime may be required. Weekends and holidays may be required. Must have a valid Class B CDL within 6 months of appointment with appropriate endorsements. Will be subject to the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act (OTETA) of 1991, which requires employee testing for drug and alcohol abuse. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 60 pounds.
