Research and assist in the creation of new policy initiatives based on programmatic necessity for meeting the needs of children and youth in foster care. Provide technical assistance to local social service districts and divisions within OCFS. Assist in the development of New York State services to children, adults and families.
Lead the review of policies that promote child and adolescent healthy development, trauma-informed responsiveness, and family engagement to support the safety, permanency and well-being of children and youth in foster care and compliance with State and Federal guidelines.
