Salary RangeFrom $40324 to $49417 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Permanent service in this title and eligible for reassignment, or one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in a title SG-9 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Civil Service Law, or reachable on the current promotion eligible list for this title.
Duties Description The incumbents will be responsible for processing fingerprints, including verifying, validating, ensuring the accuracy of images and assigning patterns; interpreting and modifying criminal history records and other data on Division of Criminal Justice Services files to ensure accuracy; resolving transactions requiring special handling, including issues such as poor quality or possible mixed identifications; and handling FBI discrepancies. The incumbents will work as a part of a team to ensure processing is on schedule and meets all standards.
Additional Comments Appointment is subject to Division of Budget waiver approval.
