Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education or related field and four (4) years of proven experience in developing, implementing and evaluating learning solutions for adults where 1 year of experience is in a managerial or supervisory capacity or eight (8) years of experience in developing, implementing and evaluating learning solutions for adults. A Master’s Degree may be substituted for one year of experience.
Duties Description Verify the design instructionally sound learning solutions using industry standard methods, including competency-based solutions.
Assist in the collaboration with agency partners in the identification of innovative and effective learning solutions for functional audiences, identifying opportunities to leverage solutions across the agency.
Design the learning via a variety of delivery modalities (e.g. simulations, classroom, eLearning, virtual classroom, podcast & other formal and informal vehicles) for various types of content to include product knowledge, technical, applications, process and behavioral skill development.
Suggest and implement an evaluation strategy for the curriculum to ensure compliance, effectiveness and consistent quality of the learning experience.
Collaborate on development of trainer qualification and certification programs to support curriculum.
Evaluate train-the-trainer sessions performed by Project Assistants.
Review reports made by Project Assistants on the impact of training solutions on knowledge and skill acquisition.
Research current trends in curriculum development, and implement innovative and effective solutions.
Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal and external partners.
Directly supervises Grade 23 Project Assistants.
