Minimum Qualifications Must have a valid license and registration to practice dentistry in New York State. Two years of full-time post licensure dentistry experience.
Duties Description The incumbent will see on average 100 inmates per month for various dental issues. The incumbent will schedule dental exams and handle emergency services. The incumbent, in the absences of the Dentist 3 is responsible for the supervision of the dental clinic. The incumbent will perform restoration, administer local anesthetics and inhalation anesthetics, oral surgery commensurate with professional qualifications, single and multiple extractions, clean teeth, treat teeth, mouth, and gum infections with drugs or surgery, and maintain written patient records.
