70.1 Transfer Qualifications:
An employee with one-year of permanent competitive service in an appropriate title allocated to Grade 9 or higher may qualify for transfer pursuant to Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description As a Secretary 1 you would be responsible for providing administrative support in an office. You would establish and implement procedures to maintain an efficient work flow; perform a variety of routine office functions, such as screen and refer telephone calls to the appropriate staff; examine daily mail and handle routine correspondence by preparing replies, keep office records and files organized using a variety of software. You would also be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of a variety of documents, databases, and correspondence.
