Salary RangeFrom $73284 to $92693 Annually
Minimum Qualifications One year permanent competitive service as a Training Specialist 2 or eligible for transfer pursuant to Section 52.6 or Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description Provide technical assistance in developing updated training policies and protocols for the day to day operational activities for all training and events at the training center.
Coordinate with the Office of Management Services regarding facility and security operations at the training center.
Develop a training program to meet identified needs by determining course content and obtaining outside instructors, subject matter experts, and actors.
Plan and oversee training special events such as conferences, symposiums and forums held at the training center.
Supervise and manage the work of Training Specialist 1 and Trainee staff, and a variety of support staff at the training center
Coordinate and oversee the scheduling of all training center training resources (classrooms, conference rooms, simulation spaces, auditorium and training equipment).
Provide fiscal and administrative oversight regarding all necessary training equipment, services and supplies as necessary.
