Duties Description The incumbent of this position will be assigned to the Attendance and Leave Unit located in the Governor’s Office of Employee Relations and will be responsible for:

• Responding orally or in writing to inquiries from agency personnel offices and employees on a variety of attendance and leave topics including vacation time, sick leave, overtime, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and Paid Family Leave.

• Drafting language for the Attendance and Leave Manual, negotiated agreements and related memoranda, bulletins, and reports.

• Analyzing issues related to leave benefits and proposed new benefits.

• Providing ongoing education and training to agency human resources staff.
