Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM
Current New York State employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive status as a Program Aide, G-13 OR one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service in a title at or above a G-11 and eligible for transfer under section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Experience processing vouchers and contracts for either a private or public entity.

Duties Description The incumbent will: Assist in carrying out contract and grant functions for the Department of Health Center for Provider Services and Oversight, a component of OPCHSM; Assist by planning processes related to contracts and grants; Assist directors and deputy directors in processing contract vouchers and other paperwork; Assist directors and deputy directors in processing travel paperwork; Assist in checking progress related to internal control risk management techniques; Coordinate with other parts of the Department to ensure information is up to date and accurate ; Assist in the preparation, review, evaluation, and analysis of a variety of reports and records specific to the programs assigned; Refer clients to appropriate internal staff or to other agencies; Review contractor submissions for accuracy and completeness; Obtain statements, missing information, or documents; Maintain contract management tracking system and supervises temporary staff.
