Minimum Qualifications ? Reachable on the Civil Service List for Office Assistant 2 Keyboarding; OR
? Currently serving as an Office Assistant 2 Keyboarding and eligible for transfer; OR
? One year of permanent competitive service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the NYS Civil Service Law.

Duties Description Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide secretarial duties to the Front Door and Eligibility Units and all staff within those Units:
? Phones, faxes, correspondences, scheduling meetings, and filing for above referenced Units;
? Tracking and monitoring of Front Door assessments and scheduling of Front Door Informational sessions;
? Tracking and monitoring of eligibility applications;
? Working in CHOICES and TABS and running reports as required;
? Mailings, paper and computer database maintenance;
? Scheduling and organizing trainings as required;
? Maintaining calendar of employee vacation, personal and sick time;
? Scanning to create electronic versions of documents for computer backup and email;
? Ensure the completion and submission of various reports as assigned by the Director;
? Assist Office Manager with Maintenance/Building issues, contact with property owner, maintenance and cleaning company;
? Relief coverage provided for front desk as needed;
? Responsible to ensure maintenance of unit office equipment;
? Coordinate special projects as needed.
