Minimum Qualifications To be considered for permanent appointment, candidate must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law
Duties Description Under the supervision of an Office Assistant 3 the duties of this position includes and not limited to:
Pay invoices for Administration by creating PO’s/POS’s using the as400 system
Create, correct ,certify and pay vouchers using the Wipper/SFS system
Correspond with TOA’s and clerical staff regarding PO’s/POS’s and vouchers
Correspond and answer questions from vendor
Respond to all emails from the Voucher Audit Team, Bureau of State Expenditures and Office of the State Comptroller regarding voucher payments
Track lost vendor bank wires
Enter Revenue on a weekly basis
Sort and distribute paychecks and direct deposit to various departments
Take inventory or plan/proposals when received and send MO confirmation
Answer phone, door, faxing, Canvass letter, logging in UPS, Federal Express and help in Mailroom duties etc.
Responsibilities will include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations
