Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education or related field and three (3) years of proven experience in developing, implementing and evaluating learning solutions for adults or seven (7) years of experience in developing, implementing and evaluating learning solutions for adults. A Master’s Degree may be substituted for one year of experience.
Duties Description Design of instructionally sound learning solutions using industry standard methods, including competency-based solutions.
Assist with the design of the learning via a variety of delivery modalities (e.g. simulations, classroom, eLearning, virtual classroom, podcast & other formal and informal vehicles) for various types of content to include product knowledge, technical, applications, process and behavioral skill development.
Support the implementation of an evaluation strategy for curriculum to ensure compliance, effectiveness and consistent quality of the learning experience.
Assist with collaborating on the development of trainer qualification and certification programs to support curriculum.
Offer train-the-trainer sessions for long-term sustainability.
Coach and support trainers as they learn new curricula.
Direct training curricula, as needed.
Evaluate, analyze and report on impact of training solutions on knowledge and skill acquisition in the environment.
Research current trends in curriculum development, and implement innovative and effective solutions.
Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal and external partners.
Directly supervises Grade 18 Project Assistants.
