Minimum Qualifications Current New York State employee with one year or more of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service as a Business Systems Analyst 4; OR current New York State employee with one year or more of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service in a position allocated to a salary grade 25 or above and eligible for transfer via Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description The incumbent will serve in the Projects and Portfolio Management (PPM) unit of the OGS Real Estate Center. Responsibilities of this position include working with various units within OGS to:
• Supervise a team of business analysts responsible for managing various OGS asset and property management systems and improving business processes to integrate with systems.
• Promote business analysis standards within the unit.
• Write agency business analysis standards and process documents.
• Prioritize IT system requirements to gain stakeholder agreement.
• Lead the team to:
o Understand and document existing business processes and/or systems
o Elicit requirements for improvements in business processes and/or systems
o Recommend improvements to business processes and/or systems
o Assist the agency to transition to new business processes and/or systems
o Conduct data analysis
o Prepare presentations and reports
o Serve as a liaison between OGS, ITS and other agencies
