Minimum Qualifications Current Department of Health employee with permanent or contingent-permanent status as a Health Program Administrator 2, G-25 OR current NYS employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent service in a qualified title, G-23 or higher, and deemed eligible to transfer to Health Program Administrator 2 under Section 52.6 OR Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with program and contract management, planning, development and supervision. Strong fiscal expertise to include budget development, familiarity with audits, and voucher processing. Knowledge of database and spreadsheets as tools in fiscal management, as well as other computer software as tools for program management. Knowledge of quality assurance and program evaluation. Ability to lead meetings with external providers. Familiarity with computer systems.

Duties Description As a Health Program Administrator 2 in the MARO DON, you will be working in a team environment. You will be responsible for the evaluation and reporting of the quality of nutrition service delivery, and general program compliance, in accordance with Federal and State regulations. This position supervises 9 administrative staff.

Additional Comments Contingent-permanent, full-time. Occasional external regional meetings and travel to Albany.
