Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be employed by New York State to be eligible to apply for this position.

Candidates must have permanent status as a Program Aide, Grade 13, and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law by having at least one year of permanent service in a qualifying title within two salary grades of this position.

Duties Description The Office of Mental Health (OMH) is recruiting to fill a Program Aide, Grade 13, positions in the Administrative Support Services Group, Capital Operations. ASSG supervises and manages OMH’s capital planning and construction program and provides direct technical assistance for physical plant operations and maintenance. The incumbent of this position will assist with the maintenance of the Project Management System for project data integration with the Capital Asset Management System (CAMS), the review of all project expenditures for bondability, and to provide critical reports to the Dormatory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) and the OMH Bureau of Costing Services. Specific duties to be performed may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assist in the review, evaluation, and analysis of a variety of reports and records to prepare project management updates, status reports and complete bondable payment processing.

Run expenditure reports from the State Financial System (SFS) and ASSG’s Project Management System (PMS).

Compile Bondable Payment expenditure spreadsheets using information from SFS, Filenet, and PMS.

Assist in processing the Capital Review reports including updates to expenditures.

Prepare tables, charts, and reports to describe the analysis and document procedures and analytical methods relative to existing projects in SFS.

Compile and generate custom reports for specific project data requests in support of the OMH Capital Program using the Capital Asset Management System (CAMS).
