Minimum Qualifications Certifications from the Department of Health in the grade required for operation of the plant to which assigned.
Duties Description Operate water filtration plants; may perform semi-skilled maintenance activities, depending on workload needs and may be responsible for a water treatment plant. Monitor and adjust control panels, gauges, chlorinators, and filters. Take samples of water, maintain pumps, screen valves, meters and other equipment systems. Perform tests, and record results. Clean, repair, calibrate and maintain records related to work activities, inventory, monitoring and testing. Produce and submit reports about testing an maintenance.
