Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Secretary 1 candidate is knowledgeable about OPWDD Regional Office initiatives including Person Centered Planning and the Front Door Initiative that support the OPWDD mission to help individuals with developmental disabilities lead richer lives. The Secretary 1 position at the Taconic Regional Office is assigned to support the needs of the Taconic Regional Office. The Secretary 1 will support each unit in the Taconic Regional Office as necessary including the Certified Residential Opportunities Unit (CRO), Special Populations, Front Door, and Fiscal Support and Site Development Unit. The Secretary 1 position will report directly to the Regional Office Secretary 2, and will be responsible to perform any duties as assigned.

POSITION DUTIES:
The Secretary 1 duties include but are not limited to:
• Coordinates CRO database entry and monitors results in a timely manner;
• Creates professional correspondences for Regional Office Units;
• Coordinates and tracks correspondences for Regional Office Units;
• Schedules conference calls and meetings for Regional Office Units;
• Provides data from databases to Regional Office Leadership;
• Assists with the creation and release of Requests for Proposals and Letters of Intent;
• Additional duties as assigned.
