An Employee with one year of permanent competitive service in an appropriate title allocated to Grade 7 or higher may qualify for transfer pursuant to Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Eligible titles include, but are not limited to:

Section 55-b/c Employees: An employee with one year of permanent non-competitive service pursuant to Section 55-b/c of the Civil Service Law may be eligible for a new 55-b/c appointment to this position if they meet the technical requirements for transfer pursuant to Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law as stated above.
Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
As a Senior Employment Security Clerk assigned to DEWS you will serve as a central point for disseminating general information about our Career Centers and be responsible for handling all in-bound calls on a continuous basis. Managing correspondence, preparing documents for imaging and updating customer records using the mainframe and OSOS. Assist with various office functions.
