SUNY Delhi seeks a dynamic, forward thinking and engaging Secretary I to join the University Police Department (UPD). SUNY Delhi prides itself on being a welcoming college community for all. The Secretary I is the principal administrative support for UPD and is responsible for coordinating efficient daily secretarial/clerical duties and associated support for the department.
Primary duties include:
•Providing prompt and professional customer service to faculty, staff, students, and visitors to UPD by delivering information, responding to questions, providing direction, and triaging general inquiries.
•Processing daily incident reports, distributing and maintaining incident logs, and dispatching officers as necessary.
•Preparing correspondence and reports, as assigned.
•Monitoring the fire alarm system, the processing of fingerprint cards, as appropriate, and processing of Seal Orders for arrests.
•Monitoring budget allocations, ordering office supplies, purchasing of department equipment, tracking orders, and reconciling monthly statements.
•Processing fund allocations for student workers and oversee student schedules.
•Processing payments for student parking pass sales, order parking decals for faculty and students, and distribute visitor parking passes to guests providing guidance on appropriate parking details.
•Processing travel requests and vouchers for staff.
•Maintaining student records, which includes receiving, posting, and distributing judicial letters, and keep the PNG list accurate.
•Maintaining key card files for faculty and staff, and the campus Lost & Found.
•Assisting with reviewing and revising policy and procedure manuals.

•Starting Salary: $40,324.
•Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasional weekends
•Reports to: Chief of University Police
