Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Program Aide is an essential member of the RO. This position will serve as a Program Aide for the Region 2 CNY Regional Office. The person in this position will assist in ensuring all CNY Regional Office functions are performed with a high level of quality, focusing primarily in the areas of collecting, tabulating, analyzing and verifying data including creating tables and charts for units within the CNY Regional Office.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Provide information and assistance to the public by responding to phone inquiries, individuals or providers who may come to the Regional Office, and general written inquiries.
? Collect, tabulate, analyze and verify data and reports for all areas of the CNY Regional Office.
? Create tables and charts of data results as necessary for various projects as assigned by administration.
? Monitor and evaluate data for deficiencies and assist in correcting problems.
? Research laws, rules and regulations to assist RO staff in finding alternative approaches to administrative problems or issues.
? Gather, review and evaluate information required by the CNY Regional Office to conduct quality assurance reviews as assigned.
? Assist in preparation, review, evaluation, and analysis of a variety of reports and records specific to assignments.
? Review and revise policy and procedures as assigned.
? Prepare written summaries and reports and apply agency procedures in support of RO specific program areas.
