Minimum Qualifications One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service as an Office Assistant 3 Calculations (formerly: Principal Account Clerk), OR
Eligible for transfer via Section 70.1 of Civil Service law
Duties Description Responsible for the coordination of lodging for trainees attending training at the Human Services Trainng Center and other administrative support functions for the Center.
Perform paraprofessional duties and provide program and technical assistance for one or more professional or technical positions.
Duties may include: preparing routine correspondence, collecting and analyzing data, assisting in the preparation, review and evaluation of a variety of reports and records, making routine determinations of compliance with agency rules and regulations, and training and supervising subordinate staff.

Additional Comments Background Investigation Requirements: 1) All prospective employees will be investigated through a Criminal Background Check (CBC), which includes State and federal Criminal History Record Checks. Prospective employees will be required to pay any necessary fees. 3) For Division of Juvenile Justice and Opportunities for Youth (DJJOY) prospective appointees will be checked against the Staff Exclusion List (SEL) maintained by the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs. Prospective employees whose names appear on the SEL as having been found responsible for serious or repeated acts of abuse or neglect will be barred from appointment and may have their names removed from the eligible list(s) for the title(s) if applicable.
