Minimum Qualifications To be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.

Duties Description This position is located in the Federal Aid Unit. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Process closing of Federal Aid projects following established procedures, including research and verification of information from different sources; enter information into Federal Highway Administration’s Information System (FMIS);
• Provide backup for processing and distribution of daily modifications and agreements reports;
• Provide backup for timely analysis and correction of projects that are taken off current bill due to errors;
• Provide backup for timely receiving and processing of archeological bills from New York State Education Department;
• Assist with federal fiscal year-end activities;
• Other related tasks as needed.

Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the Department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
