Salary RangeFrom $50565 to $63151 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Permanent status as a Secretary 2 and interested in transfer; OR reachable for permanent appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for Secretary 2 OR eligible to transfer via section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law (Agency Program Aide, Office Assistant 3, etc.).
Duties Description Under the supervision of the Division of Treatment & Recovery’s Associate Commissioner, incumbent will provide administrative assistance and secretarial support to the Associate Commissioner and Division staff, as well as to the Division of Prevention & Housing staff.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Coordinating and arranging meetings.
• Answering and triaging telephone calls.
• Responding to request for information.
• Reviewing incoming correspondence and responding appropriately.
• General office duties, including faxing and photocopying.
• Ordering supplies.
• Establishing office procedures.
• Assisting Associate Commissioners and Division Heads with travel arrangements and processing travel requests.
• Designing, establishing, and maintaining office filing systems (including electronic).
• Resolving day-to-day operational problems.
• Coordinating information flow by acting as liaison among key executives, staff, and other employees, as well as the public.
• Special Projects and other assignments, as necessary and appropriate.
