Minimum Qualifications Interested candidates must be reachable on the Program Aide eligible list or eligible to transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
To be eligible for a 70.1 transfer to a Program Aide, SG – 13, a candidate must have one year of competitive service in a qualifying title allocated to a salary grade 11 or higher.
Duties Description • Assist the Director of the Compliance, including compiling data for program evaluation and monitoring
• Compile annual Investment Compliance Questionnaire responses by tracking and providing status update reports and statistics as requested, including development of charts, graphs, etc.
• Assist in the procurement process for Compliance Program management for investment-related system and services including RFP development, coordination with legal, finance and other offices
• Assist with the processing and reconciliation of payment vouchers, assuring payments are properly documented and in compliance with legal agreements
• Maintains tracking logs for background checks, invoices, placement agent fee disclosure memos (PAFD) and ensures all follow-up correspondence is completed and deadlines are met
• Monitor and evaluate data, tracking, reports, etc. for deficiencies and assist in correcting problems
• Assist in the division’s annual internal controls certification and risk assessment
• Assist in drafting policies and procedures for the Compliance Program
• Assist Compliance Program by reviewing background check reports as needed
• Coordinate, arrange and schedule meetings as needed
• Communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external customers
• Special projects as requested by the Director of Compliance
