Duties Description The Mental Hygiene Program Evaluation specialist 4 will perform a complex data analysis to support strategic planning for managed care and other OPWDD planning and evaluation related initiatives. Supervision of staff performing similar duties is required.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary duties and responsibilities of the position Include, but are not limited to the following:
• Provide Direction and Supervision for the following Departments which include: Incident Management, Medical Records, Utilization Review, and Quality Improvement.
• Develop systems to ensure and monitor compliance with all state and local regulations including the all Health Department Regulations.
• Develop, ensure, and monitor all Internal Controls Mechanisms relating to fire safety, Staff Training, Incident Management, HCBS Waiver, and Family Care.
• Develop and Monitor Local Agency Policies and internal Controls to ensure they are current and coordinate with all applicable state and Federal Regulations.
• Oversee the monitoring and program evaluation of departments through periodic auditing to ensure systemic care, choice and treatment of the individuals served within state operations. Serve as Agency Management representative or Chairperson on a variety of Agency Committees.
• Develop Plans of Corrective Action to identify and address trends and ensure that outcome measures are utilized to maximize quality improvement, agency compliance and manage risk.
