Minimum Qualifications Reachable on current Civil Service list for this title; one year of permanent, competitive service as a Senior Accountant or Senior Auditor; or one year of permanent, competitive service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Examples of eligible titles include: Data Processing Fiscal Systems Auditor 1, Senior Budgeting Analyst, Senior Internal Auditor, State Program Examiner 1, Tax Auditor 1.
Please note, that in order to be appointed to this position, you must also have 24 credit hours in Accounting and or Auditing.
Duties Description The incumbent will handle time sensitive and/or real time processing of investment and cash management related transactions. Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure trades are confirmed and released in a timely manner
• Ensure all corporate actions are responded to in a timely manner
• Maintain accuracy of Bloomberg broker database
• Liaison between outside Brokers, Custodial Bank, Investment Front Office, and Back Office
• Approve all movement of funds between custodial accounts and/or operating accounts
• Monitoring and recording ATF and DBF Cash receipts and payments daily
• Reviewing and updating procedure manuals for job responsibilities assigned
• Backup for other specific Cash Management duties
