Minimum Qualifications The ideal candidate will have previous secretarial experience and knowledge of New York State policies and procedures.

• Ability to use independent judgement
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and aptitude to learn new computer applications
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adhere to deadlines as required
• Detail oriented
Duties Description As a Secretary in the Executive office, the incumbent will:
• Provide and manage administrative support to executive staff
• Maintain the calendar and meeting schedules for executive staff
• Manage incoming phone calls and visitors for the office and respond to questions
• Review all correspondence submitted for signature
• Establish and maintain filing/recordkeeping systems
• Draft correspondence/reports as requested
• Resolve day to day operational issues
• Establish and implement procedures to maintain an efficient work flow
• Review current procedures/forms and update as necessary
• Analyze data and provide analysis results to executive staff
Additional Comments Salary will be commensurate with experience.
