Salary RangeFrom $56604 to $71980 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Training Specialist 1 , SG-18: eligible for 52.6 or 70.1 transfer.
Training Specialist Trainee 1, NS: Eligible for a Section 70.1 or 70.4 transfer, or 55-b/c eligible with Bachelor’s Degree.
Duties Description Under the direction of the Director, Human Resources, the Training Specialist will be responsible for the following:
• Identifying specific training needs of the Department by discussing staff and program requirements with program managers.
• Developing a training program by determining course content, method of presentation, and course materials.
• Conducting in-person training courses to applicable staff using pre-approved lesson plans and evaluation tools.
• Facilitating technical and functional development of training courses for the Statewide training program for Human Resource professionals.
• Enrolling staff in State mandated training and monitoring their completion through the Statewide Learning Management System.
