Minimum Qualifications One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service as an Office Assistant 2 (Calculations).
OR
Eligible for transfer via Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description Perform complicated numerical tasks using accepted account keeping, auditing, statistical, payroll, or other procedures in which mathematical calculations are fundamental.
Supervise clerical support staff in the performance of more routine numerical tasks.
Process transactions which require mathematical calculation and knowledge of the program area where assigned.
Design and produce summary reports using data base or spreadsheet software.
Review unit or department financial forms (e.g., vouchers) for conformance with approved spending.
Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
