Salary RangeFrom $56745 to $70415 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable on the appropriate Civil Service eligible list, or;
Interested candidates must be eligible to transfer under Section 52.6, 70.1 or 70.4 of the Civil Service Law:
52.6 transfer candidates must have at least one year of permanent competitive service in a qualifying title allocated to a grade 16 or higher and designated 52.6.
70.4 transfer candidates must have one year permanent competitive service in a position within two salary grades of SG-13 and possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College and have standing on the PCO exam.
Candidates may be required to serve a 2-year traineeship that leads to the grade 18 position. The traineeship would include SG-13 Trainee 1 and SG-14 Trainee 2. After successful completion of the two year traineeship the incumbent will advance to the SG-18 level.
Duties Description Under the direction of the Human Resources Specialist 2, the incumbent will function as a personnel liaison to assigned program areas within the Board performing duties related to recruitment, classification, staffing, exam planning, and employee relations. Duties may also include researching and preparing reports and assuming responsibility for special projects on personnel issues.
