Minimum Qualifications Reachable on the Associate Personnel Administrator eligible list or eligible for a 52.6 transfer.
Duties Description The Human Resources Specialist 2 will report to the Director, Human Resources and serve as a generalist in the administration of the agency’s human resources program. Responsibilities include:
• Recruitment of new employees, including posting of vacancy announcements, eligible list canvassing, reviewing resumes for eligibility, and reviewing interview questions and responses.
• Preparing and submitting classification requests for positions through the New York State Electronic Personnel System (NYSTEP).
• Onboarding of new employees, including entry of appointment transactions in the Human Capital Management system (HCM).
• Oversight of the Performance Evaluation Program.
