Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with either a major or minor in computer science, or a strong concentration which includes at least 15 credits in computer science coursework, and at least five years of supervisory experience in the area of Information Technology.

Duties Description The job duties of the Section Manager of IT- Business Solutions will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversee the department’s staff by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results; coaching, counseling and disciplining employees
- Maintain a quality workforce by overseeing and participating in the recruitment, selection, orientation and training of staff, as well as identifying and developing personal growth opportunities for staff
- Maintain the organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering and supporting strategic plans for implementing business solutions within PeopleSoft and Service Now. This includes collaborating closely with other IT units to ensure collective coordination for the success of tasks / projects.
- Partner directly with user departments to understand business needs, goals and priorities
- Oversee quality assurance of applications to ensure accuracy, integrity and efficiency
- Recommend information technology strategies within PeopleSoft and Service Now by evaluating and anticipating requirements and identifying solutions. This will include close collaboration with other IT departments.
- Accomplish financial objectives of the department by forecasting requirements and providing budgetary information as required for PeopleSoft and Service Now platforms
- Maintain quality customer service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards and reaching out to customers to understand their needs and to communicate IT issues

- Experience overseeing and participating in the recruitment, selection, orientation and training of staff, identifying and developing personal growth opportunities for staff, and maintaining a safe and secure work environment for staff
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products which include Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Proficient in use of various application tools to query data
