Minimum Qualifications DUTIES (include but are not limited to):

As an employee of the Central Business Administration, the person in this position would have the following duties and responsibilities:

1. Review purchase requests for appropriateness ensuring NYS procurement rules and regulations are followed,
2. Process purchase request in SFS,
3. Obtain appropriate/required documentation in compliance with the Business Services Center (BSC) and forward to them,
4. Work with the program requesting the good/service and the vendor to ensure the correct item(s) is/are purchased and delivered,
5. Place purchases on a NYS Procurement Card,
6. Maintain log of Procurement Card purchases and reconcile monthly to the Citibank Statement,
7. Create Procurement Card approval letters for services and send to vendors,
8. Obtain appropriate number of quotes for goods/service in compliance with OPWDD and NYS Procurement guidelines,
9. Supervise subordinate staff, including time and attendance, performance evaluations and training,
10. Complete performance tracker upon completion of each assignment to ensure the progress and outcome of each purchase request is readily accessible.

Duties Description MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• In title Office Assistant 3 (Calculations), or

• Eligible for 70.1 transfer by way of current permanent status in a title deemed comparable by the department of Civil Service (must also be within 2 salary grades of Grade 14).
