Minimum Qualifications • For permanent appointment you must currently be employed by New York State and have permanent or contingent permanent status title as a Business Officer 1 or be eligible for transfer pursuant to Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will provide supervisory oversight of the Centralized Business Administration (CBA) Accounts Payable and Procurement Card Reconciliation unit. This position will be responsible for ensuring NYS laws, rules and regulations are followed in all processes within the purview of responsibility.
Description of Activities and Tasks:
1. Provides direction to the Accounts Payable and Procurement Card Reconciliation units
2. Reviews district spending and works with district Business Officers as needed to ensure available funds
3. Manages special projects involving payment or P-Card Reconciliation problems
4. Administrative liaison with the BSC and OSC relative to payments and P-Card Reconciliations
5. Provides support for Director of Fiscal Services
