Minimum Qualifications • Candidate must currently be certified in New York State as a
Dietitian or Nutritionist OR
• currently be registered with the American Dietetic Association
as a Dietitian OR
• be eligible for a 70.1 transfer OR
• be reachable on the Civil Service List.
Duties Description The Dietitian will provide total nutrition care to assigned individuals which include the following duties:
• Ensure that all assigned individuals have appropriate diets and
dietary orders.
• Ensure dietary consistency as ordered by physician.
• Complete nutritional assessments for all assigned individuals.
• Research and plan substitutions on meal plans with residential
staff.
• Provide in-service training for staff on a variety of nutritionally
based subjects.
• Attend and participate in annual and semi-annual meetings.
• Provide periodic oversight across all shift in assigned
residences.

Additional Comments SALARY INCLUDES $3,026 LOCATION PAY.
