Duties Description The START Treatment Team Leader provides both administrative and clinical guidance within the START framework.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties shall include, but not be limited to:
• Supervise START Coordinators
• Maintain linkages and relationships with community partners
• Share 24/7 Clinical back up for the 18 county Region 3 START Program as needed. May include on-call responsibilities to ensure 24/7 response to crisis situations within one hour of crisis call telephonically and within 2 hours of crisis meeting face-to-face whenever possible
• Participate in recurring meetings with START leadership, clinical team and Resource Center program
• Develop Cross-Systems Crisis Prevention and Intervention Plans, intake assessments, interventions and outcomes, and any other applicable documentation of services provided
• Maintain active half-time caseload (variability may occur depending on activity level of cases)
• Possess the vision to conceptualize the needs of the individuals with I/DD outside of traditional institutional models of care and work holistically with individuals and systems
• Understand the programmatic and cultural nuances found across different systems of care
• Public Speaking and Community Training Engagements
• Other duties as assigned

Additional Comments Travel within the five-county catchment area will be required in the performance of the duties of the position. This may include a state-owned vehicle, as available, or the employee’s own car. An employee who uses his/her own car will be reimbursed at current negotiated rates.
