Minimum Qualifications Permanent status as an Addictions Program Specialist 2, G-23 and interested in reassignment or reachable for permanent appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for Addictions Program Specialist 2, G-23; or eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law (i.e., Addictions Planning Analyst 2, Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor).

Duties Description As an Addictions Program Specialist 2 in the Hudson Regional Office, the incumbent performs a wide range of professional, administrative and technical duties to facilitate the development, implementation, and evaluation of AOD services in a specified catchment area. Job tasks and communication methods are computer oriented and involve utilizing web-based systems. Overnight travel will be required.

Additional Comments Travel requirement will range 25%-50%, including some overnights).
