Minimum Qualifications Minimum qualifications for candidates eligible for provisional appointments, 55-b/55-c appointment or 70.4 transfer:
Four years of practical experience in the operation of a variety of audiovisual production equipment which must include video cameras, lighting, microphones, and non-linear video editing software; and responsibility for creating and maintaining various audiovisual digital files to produce multiple end products which must include broadcasts, web presentations, videos, and CD/DVD/Blu-Rays. A bachelor’s degree in video and/or film production may substitute for two years of the experience.

Reinstatement Eligible - Previously held the title on a permanent competitive basis or held a title as indicated under the transfer eligible section on a permanent competitive basis.
Duties Description This position will be located within the Office of Communication Services, Multimedia Services bureau. Duties include:
• Meet with program and executive staff to determine production needs and objectives
• Assists in planning and scheduling production assignments based on requirements and available equipment
• Prepares scripts, story boards and work plans
• Assists in scouting for and setting up location production
• Edits and mixes video and audio recordings
• Utilizes post production
