Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have taken and passed a NYS Civil Service examination and be reachable off the Civil Service eligible list.

Duties Description The Office Assistant 2 (Keyboarding) will be responsible for supporting activities of the Office of Student Accounts under the supervision of the Coordinator of Student Accounts.
The Office of Student Accounts is dedicated to continuous improvement of service by maximizing technology and resources. The successful candidate should have an aptitude for learning new computer applications quickly and efficiently, the ability to analyze account transactions, maintain accuracy when working with high quantity of records, consistently track data, and the ability to work with deadlines and prioritize duties as necessary.
In addition, the duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Reviewing and approving sponsorship awards from corporations, unions and other organizations for student’s tuition or fees in accordance with each sponsor’s requirements; Assisting in the preparation of sponsor billing; Assisting in the electronic scanning of documents; Assisting in financial graduation clearances; Provide students and staff with professional customer service, including telephone, e-mail or in person inquiries
