Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
52.6 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: One year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55 b/c service in a title Grade 25/M1 or higher determined to be administrative by Civil Service.

PROVISIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: One year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55 b/c service as an Employment Services Manager 1, Assistant Coordinator Apprentice Training, Associate Employment Services Representative, Employment Training Fiscal Auditor 2, Occupational Analyst, Senior Employment Consultant (Testing), Senior Employment Counselor, Supervising Labor Services Representative, Supervising Labor Services Representative (Chinese Language), Supervising Labor Service Representative (Spanish Language), Workforce Programs Specialist 2, Workforce Programs Specialist 3, or Workforce Programs Specialist 3 (Spanish Language).
The exam for this title is currently scheduled for June 01, 2019, applicants looking to be considered for provisional appointment must apply for the examination by the deadline (April 17, 2019), take the examination, and attain a reachable score on the examination to be appointed permanently.
Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
The Employment Services Manager 2 will plan, organize, delegate, coordinate, and evaluate career center programs, operations, activities, and services to the public. They will apply and interpret agency policies, procedures, guidelines, and performance standards in conformance with Federal and State laws, rules, and regulations to assure consistency in operations and optimal services to customers, employers, and the community.
Additional Comments Position specific job duties may include occasional altered work schedule or job assignments which require availability and willingness to work occasional evening and/or out-stationed assignments.
Conditions of Employment: Permanent, if transfer or list appointment is made; otherwise the appointment will be provisional pending examination.
Travel: 60%. This position will also cover the Middletown and Monticello Career Centers
