Minimum Qualifications •MSN degree or matriculation into a MSN program
•Unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in NYS, or eligible to achieve licensure prior to appointment
•2 years teaching experience in a nursing program
•Valid unrestricted drivers license
•Enthusiasm for teaching undergraduate Nursing students is of the utmost importance
•Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong attention to detail; and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications
•Experience teaching above-mentioned courses at the college level
•Demonstrated ability to teach diverse populations

Duties Description SUNY Delhi seeks a dynamic, forward thinking and engaging Faculty member to join the School of Nursing starting Fall 2019. This position provides instruction within the faculty role for the Associate Degree Nursing program.

Primary responsibilities of faculty members include teaching assigned courses within the School of Nursing, maintaining regular office hours, participate in assessment of courses, student learning, and program outcomes as well as incorporating service learning opportunities. Assist in student advisement guiding students toward personal and career goals while tracking students completion of progression requirements. Program Development includes participating in annual systematic assessment of program and analyzing data to make recommendations for curriculum and programmatic revisions where necessary. Engagement in the academic and organizational life of the college by serving on campus committees, mentoring adjunct faculty, attendance at faculty meetings, and pursuing scholarly interests are also required.
